Power BI & Data Analyst

At-a-Glance: Are you ready to build your career by joining a leader in smart building and infrastructure. If so, our client is hiring a Power BI & Data Analyst. Position Type: • Contract • Hybrid Required: • 2-4 years experience in data analytics or reporting • Hands-on experience with Power BI (report building, visuals, basic DAX) • Proficiency in SQL, with experience querying Snowflake • Experience with data cleansing and transformation • Comfortable working with structured requirements and defined KPIs • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Preferred • Exposure to supply chain or logistics data (warehousing, procurement, order management, transportation) • Familiarity with ERP data extracts (e.g., SAP) • Experience supporting operational or executive reporting • Basic experience with Power Automate or similar tools Responsibilities: • Reporting & Dashboards • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on defined business requirements • Update and enhance existing dashboards to improve usability, performance, and clarity • Ensure dashboards are refreshed, accurate, and aligned to provided KPI definitions • Support ad-hoc reporting and data requests from Logistics leadership • Data Preparation & Management • Query and extract data from Snowflake using SQL • Clean, transform, and validate datasets using Power Query and SQL • Combine data from multiple sources (Snowflake, ERP extracts, flat files) • Identify data quality issues and escalate to internal owners when needed • Analytics Support • Perform basic analysis including trend comparisons, variances, and performance tracking • Support preparation of charts, tables, and summaries for leadership reviews • Assist with documentation of data sources, logic, and report definitions • Process & Automation Support (Limited Scope) • Support simple automation tasks (e.g., Power Automate flows) under guidance • Assist with repetitive reporting or data preparation tasks to reduce manual effort Get in Touch: We want to hear from you!
