Power BI Data Visualization Developer

Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to assist in their search for a Power BI Data Visualization Developer. In this contract position, you will build complex dimensional data models, dashboards, and reports from the bottom up Major Duties • Build data models, dashboards, and reports • Visualize compelling data stories on the report canvas • Collaborate with other teams to engineer revolutionary agency wide data solutions • Develop and implement data visualization solutions What are we looking for? • 4+ years of experience with Power BI to create dashboards and interactive visual reports • Mastery in data analytics and creating complex reports • Experience creating, testing, and deploying Power BI Scripts (Python, M and DAX) as well as execute efficient deep analysis • Previous experience with Texas State Agencies • Previous experience with Source Control, Git/ BitBucket is preferred • Previous experience with SAS and its dataset (.sas7bdat) is preferred • Experience with Jira and BI tools preferred About This Position • W2 Contract • Rate: $101/hour • Contract Length: 1 year • Hybrid in Austin, Tx The Peak Performers difference • Excellent medical health, dental & vision insurance at 60 days • Our employees may choose to participate in a 403(b) retirement plan • Qualified applicants with chronic medical conditions and/or disabilities receive priority placement • We pay weekly through direct deposit • In business since 1994 and thousands of job placements All employment offers are contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws.
