About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with Energy Trading (ETRM) experience to join our client engagement in the UK/Europe region. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise in BI tools and domain knowledge of trading workflows (cargo, vessels, price curves, PnL, exposure).
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements and design end-to-end BI solutions.
• Build interactive dashboards & reports in Power BI using DAX and advanced data modeling.
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines (SSIS, Databricks, SQL).
• Partner with stakeholders in Energy Trading to deliver actionable insights.
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and advanced analytics.
• Maintain BI documentation, ensuring scalability, compliance, and best practices.
Must-Have Skills
• Strong hands-on Power BI (DAX, data models, visualization).
• SQL Server, SSIS, Databricks, Python for data engineering.
• Knowledge of energy trading concepts (cargo, vessel, exposures, PnL, price curves).
• Experience with ETL, Data Warehousing, Dashboard Design.
• Strong communication skills to work with business & technical teams.
