Power BI Developer

Robert Half have partnered with an Asset Management firm to appoint a Power BI Developer on an initial 6 months contract basis. The organisation is looking to enhance its data reporting and visualisation capabilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, business-critical insights to stakeholders across finance and investment teams. This role will suit a developer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and can bridge the gap between technical delivery and business needs. Responsibilities • Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making • Work closely with stakeholders across finance and investment teams to gather and translate reporting requirements • Build and optimise data models to ensure efficient and scalable reporting solutions • Develop and maintain ETL processes, integrating data from multiple sources • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting outputs • Provide ongoing support, enhancement, and performance optimisation of existing Power BI solutions Requirements • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, delivering end-to-end reporting solutions • Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and data modelling • Experience working with SQL and data warehousing concepts • Solid understanding of financial data and reporting within asset management or financial services • Ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions • Experience working in agile or fast-paced project environments • Experience within Asset Management or Investment Management environments • Familiarity with Azure data stack (e.g. Azure SQL, Data Factory) • Exposure to data governance and reporting best practices Contract • Duration: Initial 6-month contract • Engagement: Day rate (Outside IR35) • Location: 3 days per week on-site in London
