Role description
2 month contract, outside of IR35, up to £450 a day. Scope Implement a dashboard to empower the Grant Operations, Finance and Impact teams to analyse data about grant portfolios, accommodating a mix of quantitative (e.g., grant spend, budget tracking) and qualitative data (e.g.,grantee reports or project descriptions). Existing Infrastructure 1. Giving Data (our grant management system) 1. Fivetran and dbt (for data movement and transformation) 1. Snowflake (data warehouse) Scope - data integration and engineering - Connect Power BI/SharePoint or other software to Snowflake environment in a smooth way that allows for real time data and an easy process. - Support team with query design or data extraction as needed. - Prepare data model(s) to support mixed data types (e.g., numeric financials + text from grantee reports). - Ensure data is transformed and structured for performance and future scalability. Expertise and skills - Strong Power BI / SHarepoint /PowerApps experience with proven dashboard design expertise. - Proficiency in data extraction from Snowflake, and working knowledge of FiveTran and dbt. - 2–3 examples of dashboards you’ve built—ideally ones that integrate both quantitative and qualitative data, serve multiple user types, and show strong design and usability.
