Duties
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key business metrics and trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective data visualizations.
Integrate data from diverse sources such as AWS cloud services, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle databases, Hadoop ecosystems, and Big Data platforms like Apache Hive and Spark.
Develop robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes utilizing tools like Informatica, Talend, or custom scripting in Python, Bash, or Shell Scripting to prepare data for analysis.
Optimize database design and query performance for large-scale Data Warehouses using SQL and model training techniques for predictive analytics.
Work within Agile development environments to deliver iterative enhancements and ensure timely project completion.
Implement RESTful APIs for seamless data integration between systems such as Looker, Azure Data Lake, and other analytics platforms.
Conduct analysis skills assessments to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in data workflows.
Support the deployment of analytics solutions by collaborating with database administrators and cloud engineers on cloud-based platforms like Azure Data Lake or AWS.
Qualifications
Proven experience developing dashboards and reports with Power BI in a fast-paced environment.
Strong proficiency in SQL programming, database design, and data modeling principles.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Data Lake for scalable data storage solutions.
Familiarity with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and related ecosystems.
Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica or Talend; scripting skills in Python, Bash (Unix shell), or Shell Scripting are highly desirable.
Understanding of data warehouse architecture principles and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.
Exposure to analytics techniques including model training and predictive analysis is a plus.
Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver incremental value efficiently.
Ability to analyze complex datasets using Looker or similar visualization tools; familiarity with RESTful APIs for system integration is advantageous.
