Power BI Developer (Finance)

PowerBI Developer (Finance) Pay Range: $70/hour to $80/hour We are seeking a data-driven Business Intelligence Developer (PowerBI) to support finance, accounting, and operational reporting initiatives through advanced analytics, dashboard development, and strategic data insights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems with data, collaborating across teams, and driving operational improvements through reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL and business intelligence experience, along with exposure to finance/accounting systems and a passion for process improvement and data storytelling. Supply chain experience is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to finance and accounting operations • Design and build dashboards, reporting tools, and data models that provide strategic visibility across the organization • Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI and similar business intelligence tools • Collaborate with finance, accounting, operations, and software application teams to support ERP and reporting initiatives • Analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting and technical solutions • Gather, clean, analyze, and present data to support business decisions and process improvements • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and operational insights • Support cross-functional projects while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 2+ years of experience with SQL development and business intelligence tools such as Power BI • 2+ years of experience in analytics, finance, accounting, operations, or related business functions • Experience working with finance and accounting systems • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Supply chain or operations experience preferred • Experience with Excel macros, Python, and scripting • Familiarity with ERP/MRP or production systems • Understanding of finance, accounting, and supply chain business processes • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies • Ability to translate end-user requirements into technical and reporting solutions • Proven ability to manage simultaneous projects in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities Ideal Candidate Profile • Curious, innovative, and self-directed problem solver • Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical excellence • Comfortable collaborating across technical and business teams • Able to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders and leadership • Passionate about leveraging data to improve business performance and decision-making If you enjoy turning data into actionable business insights and want to contribute to impactful analytics and reporting initiatives, we encourage you to apply.
