Power BI Developer (Fully Onsite & Inperson Interview)

Below is the job description for the position: Job Title: Power BI Developer/Decision Support Specialist Location: Ocoee, Florida (Fully Onsite) Duration: 6-12 months (possible extension) Interview Type: In-Person Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience. Experience & Skills • Minimum of 4 years of experience using business intelligence and reporting tools, with strong expertise in Power BI. • Hands-on experience with data modeling, dashboard design, and report performance optimization. • Experience with tolling or transportation systems is preferred. • Strong Power BI skills, including report development, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. • Knowledge of toll lane theory of operation and basic troubleshooting techniques. • Familiarity with Linux command-line usage and server support. • Basic SQL query writing skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros, VBA, and pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint. • Experience with network and system management tools such as CA Unicenter and Orion. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and present insights clearly. Role Complexity • Intermediate-level professional role focused on reporting, data visualization, and operational analysis. • Manages multiple moderately complex initiatives that support both operational and strategic decision-making. • May provide guidance or mentoring to junior staff on BI tools and reporting best practices.
