Power BI Developer

-Title: Power BI Developer -Job Type: 6-Month Contract-to-hire -Pay Range: $45-$55/Hour -Salary Range: $105K-115k -Location: Fort Worth, TX -Work Model: 3 Days On-Site (T-Th) -Benefits: Medical, Dental, vision, and 401(k) What we need is some with 3-7years of experience in PBI development/analysis working in an enterprise Microsoft environment. We use SQL Servers and Jack Henry, so experience in T-SQL coding, ETL/SSIS packages, and data analysis on large data-sets will be a must. From here, we need someone with experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Fabric, and Cognos to create data storytelling to drive an action plan on deliverables. Strong communication is also a must as you will be interacting with data engineering, development, IT, and key stakeholders to define KPIs, roadmap initiatives, and collaborate on results. Duties & Responsibilities • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytic needs • Deliver tailored end-user solutions that influence enterprise decisions • Build partnership for ad-hoc analysis and data product development • Compose insights and provide business data interpretation into a relatable presentation/story dependent on scope and audience • Collaborate with Data Management to identify data gaps or need of data quality Required Qualifications • 3-7 years of applied experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable positions that handle large/complex data sets, developing metrics, and fostering business partner relationships • Proficient with visualization & data story telling using tools such PowerBI/Fabric (preferred), Cognos • Proficiency in SQL with knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL • High communication skills are required to review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to effectively meet analysis requirements • Proficient in advanced excel techniques and model development • Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and proven ability to work independently and in a team • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions • Demonstrated understanding in conceptual and logical data design • Familiarity with source control tools such as Git Pluses: -Bank industry experience or Financial Institution experience -Jack Henry and Cognos
