Power BI Developer

Hi Role: Power BI Developer Experience:10+ yrs minimum. Location: Plano, TX (Need only locals) Interview Mode: Face to Face Position Overview Experienced Full Stack BI Developer to join the Sales Analytics team. This role focuses on modernizing and transforming reporting solutions for the dealership franchise network. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data transformation, visualization, and dashboard development, with the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment. Required Skills • Minimum 5 years of experience in data transformation and data visualization • Proficient in Power BI for data modeling and dashboard development • Experience with Alteryx or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) • Advanced SQL querying skills • Strong background in creating impactful data visualizations and dashboards • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fluid, fast-changing environment • Flexibility to shift priorities and approaches as needed Bonus if you have: • Experience with Tableau • Familiarity with Spark or AWS technologies Key Responsibilities Back-End Development: • Develop standardized, scalable data ingestion and transformation processes aligned with best practices • Create automated burst reporting workflows to improve reporting efficiency • Design data flow architectures and develop data models to meet business needs • Collaborate with IT to align strategy, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely delivery of analytics platforms and infrastructure • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions with IT and front-end teams • Work closely with project leads to understand data requirements and usage Front-End Development: • Support business stakeholders by developing reports and self-service dashboards that enable data-driven insights, KPI monitoring, and root cause analysis • Modernize the design and user experience of legacy reports to enhance usability • Build and present scalable analytics solutions tailored to business needs • Address ad-hoc analytics requests by developing custom solutions and assisting with data interpretation • Promote adoption of self-service analytics tools across business units to empower autonomous decision-making • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and challenges effectively to technical and business audiences
