Power BI Developer - Locals & W2 Only

A Public Sector client of ours is looking for a Power BI Developer to work on their ongoing project in the Harrisburg, PA office. Below are the additional details of this role: Required Qualifications: • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Power BI software and DAX for the creation, modification, and maintenance of data displays • Advanced expertise with using analytical software, including SAS statistical software and Microsoft Excel, for analytical and reporting purposes • Experience with data mining architectures, modeling standards, reporting and data analysis methodologies • Experience with analyzing and translating business requirements and use cases into optimized models, data flows, and developing report solutions • Experience with and knowledge of relational databases, entity relationships, data warehousing, facts, dimensions, and star schema concepts and terminology • Strong proficiency with SQL Server, T-SQL, scripts, and complex queries. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services • Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile / Scrum development methods • Demonstrable ability to communicate and document clearly and concisely • Ability to balance work between multiple projects and possess good organizational skills, with minimal or no direct supervision • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues as a member of a team • Ability to present complex technical concepts and data to a varied audience effectively. • More than 5 years of relevant experience • 4-year college degree in computer science or related field with advanced study preferred.
