Power BI Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design and deliver executive-level dashboards and data visualizations for Humana’s leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modelling, along with a proven track record of working with C-level stakeholders to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Ø Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards tailored for executive leadership and business units. Ø Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, KPIs, and reporting needs. Ø Translate requirements into scalable data models and impactful visualizations. Ø Write advanced DAX calculations and queries for complex business metrics. Ø Optimize reports and dashboards for performance and usability. Ø Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with Humana’s standards. Ø Provide self-service BI enablement to business teams where appropriate. Ø Partner with data engineers and architects to ensure seamless data integration from multiple sources (SQL Server, Azure, Oracle, etc.). Ø Present insights and dashboards to senior leadership, providing storytelling with data for strategic decision-making. Required Skills & Qualifications: Ø 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. Ø Strong expertise in Power BI (Power Query, Power BI Service, DAX, M language, Row-Level Security, Dataflows). Ø Proven experience developing executive-level dashboards with emphasis on KPIs, drill-through, and storytelling. Ø Solid knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Ø Experience working with healthcare or insurance data (Humana domain knowledge is a strong plus). Ø Excellent communication skills to engage executives and non-technical stakeholders. Ø Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and HIPAA guidelines in healthcare. Ø Exposure to Azure Data Platform (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake) preferred.
