Pay Rate: $39 per hour
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 9 months
Type – W2 contract (No C2C)
Power BI & Power Platform Analyst
We are seeking a hands‑on Power BI & Power Platform Analyst to support dashboard development, Power Apps enhancements, and ongoing analytics needs for our team. This role functions as an extension of our current BI and analytics staff, providing additional capacity for overflow work throughout the year. The ideal candidate brings strong practical experience across Power BI and Power Apps, with enough exposure to SQL, Python, and Power Automate to independently deliver low‑to‑medium complexity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards using strong data modeling and DAX skills
• Update and extend existing Power Apps, including new features and workflow enhancements
• Build or troubleshoot simple to medium‑complexity Power Automate flows
• Write and modify SQL queries to support reporting needs
• Create lightweight Python scripts to support automation or data manipulation
• Partner closely with existing full‑time and contractor team members to manage analytics backlog
• Assist with general data preparation and small ETL tasks (not enterprise-scale ETL)
• Provide reliable support for ad‑hoc analytics and Power Platform tasks as they arise
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant hands‑on experience working with the required technologies
• Strong proficiency with:
• Power BI (advanced) – dashboards, DAX, modeling, data transformations
• Power Apps – updating, enhancing, and extending existing applications
• Power Automate
• SQL
• Python
• Experience working with datasets in the hundreds of thousands to low millions of rows
• Ability to deliver independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple small/medium projects
Preferred Skills
• Advanced Excel, including VBA/macro capabilities
• Broader Power Platform experience
• Exposure to general scripting or workflow automation tools
