The details of the position are as mentioned below: Title : PowerBI Developer (Mid to Senior level Resource) Location : Rosemont, IL (3 days a week onsite) Duration : 3 - 6 Months (C-H) Job Summary We are seeking a Power BI Developer to build interactive dashboards, analytical models, and data solutions that support datadriven decisionmaking. This role requires strong experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modeling, along with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models • Translate business requirements into effective visualizations and KPIs • Build interactive features (drilldowns, drillthroughs, bookmarks, tooltips) • Create and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and data models • Perform ETL using Power Query (M) and validate data accuracy • Integrate data from SQL Server, Azure SQL, ADF/Synapse, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, and flat files • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage datasets/workspaces in Power BI Service • Collaborate with SMEs and program leads to refine dashboards and present insights • Support governance, compliance, and deployment best practices Required Qualifications • 5+ years as a Power BI Developer or BI Analyst • Strong skills in Power BI Desktop & Service, DAX, Power Query, SQL • Solid understanding of star/snowflake schemas and data modeling • Experience with large datasets and performance tuning • Strong analytical and communication skills Thank You Rakesh Kurva Lead Technical Recruiter Gemini Consulting Services Phone : Email ID
