Role description
Remote Sr. Power BI Developer Boston, MA (Remote – But must be able to work EST Hours) Pay Range: Starting at $70/hr Must Haves – β€’ Exceptional experience with Power BI – strong PowerBI developer, includes data ingestion from multiple manual and database sources, modeling data, and creating visuals with the end user need in mind β€’ Strong background utilizing database-querying language (e.g. SQL) β€’ Strong experience with data modeling and ability to work with unstructured data and data provided from multiple sources that needs to be integrated and cleansed for consistent reporting β€’ Experience Supporting Manufacturing or Supply Chain teams from a functional level. β€’ Ability to help support a new team that is establishing and working through Change Management β€’ 7+ years of experience BS Degree in a quantitative field such as (Data Analytics, Data Science, or engineering) β€’ Experience supporting multiple projects at once and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. β€’ Ability to document report/dashboard requirements and sees that as part of the responsibility of the job Plusses – β€’ Pharmaceutical industry experience β€’ Experience supporting Snowflake integrated applications. β€’ Willingness to attend meetings to gather input from business stakeholders Day to Day: We are seeking a Sr. Power BI Developer to support one of our pharmaceutical clients local to Boston, MA. This individual will be joining the Business Analyst Reporting team (BAR) which directly supports the Commercial Manufacturing and Supply Chain (CMSC) organization. This candidate will be joining the BAR team - who are responsible for capturing and understanding business needs in the CMSC org to leverage requirements to build strong dashboards and data reporting strategies/efficient tools. To be successful in this role this individual must be comfortable coming into a team that is still in the early establishment phase and is self-sufficient in delivering analytics solutions that create value around the business goals/objectives. Day to day in this role can change quickly and require someone to support multiple projects at once (Ex. updating bugs in one dashboard to creating new dashboards for alternative business needs simultaneously). This role requires someone who has strong BI Analytics skills and can build dashboards independently – currently the primary tool utilized is PowerBI. Supporting supply chain or manufacturing groups from a functional level would be important as you will need to understand what the business β€œwants” but truly be able to deliver on what is β€œneeded”.
