Power BI Developer – Property & Casualty Insurance
Location: Warren, New Jersey
Experience: 5+ Years
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
• Work closely with business units (underwriting, claims, policy admin) to gather requirements and translate them into data models and visualizations.
• Integrate multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.) into Power BI for consolidated reporting.
• Optimize performance of dashboards and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Provide technical support and training to business users.
• Develop and maintain documentation for BI solutions and data models.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to improve data pipelines and reporting architecture.
• Stay updated with Power BI and data visualization best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Strong experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance domain.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and dashboard design.
