REMOTE 12 month contract for a Infrastructure Power BI developer role with a leading client in the oil/gas industry. APPLY NOW!!!! Title: Power BI developer Location: remote- must be able to work in cst or est Hours: 40/hr work week-Monday through Friday 8-5 Type: Contract Pay: $36-37.77/hour on w2 Length: 1 year contract Screenings: background+full panel drug and background once hired +optional benefits Must haves: • Bachelors degree in data and Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. • Experience in designing and developing data models for business intelligence. • Proficient in SQL and data warehousing concepts. • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft Power BI certification. • Experience with data integration and ETL processes. • Familiarity with the oil and gas industry • Python, R, and other programming tools for data and analytics. • Power Apps Position Overview: The Reporting, Analytics, and Self-Service (RASS) team at HFS is seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. A successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, create interactive and insightful reports and dashboards, and contribute to data-driven decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements. • Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize and analyze complex data sets. • Create data models and perform data transformations to ensure data accuracy and consistency in Power BI. • Create models by joining tables from multiple source systems with large volumes of data. Systems such as SAP, BW, HANA, and SQL, PI, Enablon, Track, Cloud system, etc • Optimize and troubleshoot existing Power BI reports to enhance performance and user experience. • Integrate Power BI solutions with other data sources and systems as needed. • Stay abreast of industry best practices and new features in Power BI, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance reporting capabilities. • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, data engineers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration of Power BI solutions. • Create strong and insightful documentation regarding Power BI solutions developed.
