NOTE: Must have State or Federal Client Experience especially in Education domain.
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Data Analyst / Power BI Developer to build advanced dimensional data models, develop data visualization solutions, and craft compelling, interactive reports using Power BI. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in data analytics and scripting, with the ability to work independently and lead complex data reporting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and visual reports
β’ Create, test, and deploy Power BI scripts using Python, DAX, and M
β’ Perform deep data analysis to support strategic decisions
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions
β’ Apply creativity and best practices to solve complex business problems
β’ Provide data insights through compelling data storytelling
Minimum Qualifications:
β’ 8+ years expertise in data analytics
β’ 4+ years experience building Power BI dashboards and reports
β’ Proficient in Power BI scripting using Python, DAX, and M
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Prior experience in data management and reporting projects
β’ Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket for source control
β’ Experience working with SAS datasets (.sas7bdat)
β’ Exposure to Jira for project/task tracking
β’ Prior experience with state government data/reporting environments
β’ Experience with other BI tools such as SAP BusinessObjects or Tableau
Additional Notes:
β’ Role is 100% remote; candidate must reside within the United States
β’ Must be available to work standard business hours and occasionally during evenings/weekends with pre-approval
β’ No travel or living expenses will be reimbursed unless pre-authorized
