Role description
Title: Power BI Developer
Start: Jan 5 or Jan 12
Duration: Contract to hire in 3-6 mos
Location: Onsite (Lisle, IL) 2 days/week (Wednesday + any other day of week) and 3 days remote
65% +/- is working on Power BI reports and 35% +/- is Data Engineering work (SQL, Databricks Azure (ADF, ADLS, etc.).
Must Have:
5+ years of experience as a data engineer or SQL developer.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Power BI, with a strong portfolio of report and dashboard development.
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query. Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming, ETL Processes, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience working with data using structured (SQL) and/or unstructured (NoSQL) approaches.
Experience with or exposure to data visualization principles and practices, especially with Power BI.
In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Service Bus.
