Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that turn data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and SQL, and works closely with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports
• Build and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop
• Write and optimize DAX measures and calculations
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.)
• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices
• Schedule data refreshes and manage Power BI Service workspaces
• Troubleshoot report performance and data issues
• Document solutions and provide user training/support as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
• Proficiency in DAX and data modeling
• Strong SQL skills (queries, views, stored procedures)
• Experience with data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema)
• Knowledge of Power Query (M language)
• Understanding of data visualization best practices
