Job Description - Power BI Developer The Power BI Developer is responsible for building complex dimensional data models, dashboards, and reports from the ground up. This role visualizes compelling data stories on the report canvas and collaborates with other teams to design and implement agency-wide data solutions. The developer creates and deploys data visualization solutions, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position involves independently performing a variety of complex tasks, with opportunities to lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Skills and Qualifications: 8 years of experience in data analytics, with mastery in creating complex reports. 4 years of experience using Power BI to create dashboards and interactive visual reports. 4 years of experience creating, testing, and deploying Power BI scripts (Python, M, and DAX) and performing deep data analysis. 1 year of experience working with Texas state agencies. Preferred: 4 years of experience in data-related tasks. Preferred: 1 year of experience with source control (Git/BitBucket). Preferred: 1 year of experience working with SAS datasets (.sas7bdat). Preferred: 1 year of experience with Jira. Preferred: 1 year of experience with other BI tools such as SAP or Tableau. #DICE
