Power BI Developer

Job Description: Position: Power BI Developer Location: Onsite – Orlando, FL (may transition to hybrid in future) Duration: 6 months – potential for conversion (No sponsorship available) About the Role: We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming data into compelling dashboards and actionable insights. You will design and develop new dashboards, optimize existing reports, and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, impactful data visualizations. Key Responsibilities • Develop new Power BI dashboards based on business requirements. • Revamp and optimize existing reports for improved performance and usability. • Work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and visualization goals. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reporting solutions. • Collaborate with application analysts and end users to gather requirements and document projects in SharePoint. • Create static and interactive reports using Power BI. • Provide support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for deployed reports and dashboards. Required Skills & Qualifications • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer (designing dashboards and reports). • Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and Power Query (M language). • Experience optimizing and modernizing legacy reports. • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into visualizations. • Strong knowledge of data accuracy, governance, and security principles. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. • Experience with SharePoint for documentation/project tracking is a plus.
