Position: PowerBi Developer
Duration: 3-month contract with extensions
Type: Remote, EST hours
Interview Times: This week, 1 and done via MS Teams
Required Skills:
• 3-5 years in Power BI development.
• Build and maintain reports in Power BI Desktop.
• Write and optimize DAX queries for custom calculations and measures.
• Continuously improve and troubleshoot dashboards to enhance performance and accuracy.
• Develop tailored measures to meet reporting needs.
• Clean and structure data from multiple sources.
• Create common data tables across 2-3 data sources to enable filtering visuals using a unified date measure.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements to drive solutions
Day-to-Day:
Candidate's work will center on financial and operational analytics, including:
• Spend management: Develop reports to analyze and visualize trends, focusing on the organization's top 400 suppliers, tracking spend year-over-year.
• Procurement Savings Management KPIs: Monitor and compare monthly savings against last year and actual data to ensure optimal budget performance.
• Fleet management analytics: Build dashboards to track vehicles, detailing metrics like make, model, mileage, cost, remaining lease amounts, and fleet weight analysis.
• Incident and violation reporting: Create dashboards to visualize trends in fleet-related accidents and violations across different domains.

A client of Insight Global is looking for a PowerBI developer to join their team. The ideal person for this role can build insightful, dynamic reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop that help the organization make critical decisions, write and optimize DAX queries to create custom measures and calculated fields tailored to specific reporting needs, continuously troubleshoot and improve dashboards to enhance their accuracy, usability, and performance, and clean and structure data from multiple sources, creating unified tables or dictionaries to standardize data, enabling filtering visuals seamlessly by one key date measure across all reports.
Contract/Contract-to-Hire Roles:
Compensation:
$38/hr to $44/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
