Role description
Job Title: Power BI Engineer Location: United States Job Type: Contract As a Power BI Engineer, you’ll design and deliver data-driven dashboards and reports that empower smarter business decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with clients across the US and India, working in a hybrid setup to build scalable, high-impact BI solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders. • Build data models, write advanced DAX calculations, and perform Power Query (M language) transformations. • Work directly with clients to gather requirements and deliver tailored analytics solutions. • Maintain and optimize Power BI Service environments for performance, security, and scalability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align reporting solutions with business goals. • Provide insights and recommendations through clear data storytelling. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 3–7 years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL. • Expertise in data modeling, ETL, and data visualization best practices. • Experience working with cloud data sources (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.). • Excellent communication and client interaction skills. • Ability to work in US time zones preferred. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in healthcare or clinical analytics (training provided if needed). • Exposure to US–India client projects or hybrid team environments.
