Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Power BI Developer to join our analytics and reporting team. This role will focus on building scalable, data-driven dashboards and business intelligence reports that enable insights across business and technology domains. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data visualization, DAX, and dashboard usability, with the ability to work across a variety of datasets and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy visually impactful Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Build data models using Power Query and DAX to support dynamic visualizations and KPIs.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Ensure proper data hygiene and performance optimization in report design.
• Implement data access security using row-level security and role-based permissions.
• Maintain and manage workspace content in Power BI Service including dataset refresh schedules.
• Follow best practices in version control, report documentation, and support transitions.
Required Skills:
• 3–5 years of experience in Power BI development (Desktop and Service).
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience working with relational and non-relational data sources.
• Proficiency in creating drill-down, drill-through, and tooltip-enabled reports.
• Understanding of data governance, RLS, and access control in Power BI.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with tools like SharePoint, SQL Server, or REST APIs.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
• Prior experience in enterprise-scale reporting environments.
