Position: Power BI Expert
Location: CA
Duration: 6 months+
Rate: Open.
Required Skills:
Power BI Best Practices in general
Semantic Model: define best practices for designing and sharing semantic models. Develop guidelines for versioning, documentation, and reuse.
Optimize Direct query mode/best practices for most optimal utilization of compute (defining aggregates) with automation. If we have good examples and templates for setup.
Getting into a development mode in Power BI with multiple developers (Git versioning or Azure DevOps integration)
PBI Service Capacity; analyze what would be the best capacity for our environment.
Power BI Apps & Distribution: design App publishing lifecycle: packaging, versioning, deployment pipelines. Apps vs reports in terms of best practice.
Power BI Reporting Template – how do we design reusable templates for Power BI for Enterprise.
We also need some help on monitoring the system and capacity usage. And how to better distribute the capacity.
