Power BI SME

Job Role: Senior SME - Power BI Houston, TX - Onsite Scope of Activities: Serve as Subject Matter Expert guiding teams delivering visualization solutions for Provide recommendations on design, data modeling, and build to ensure solutions are performant, scalable, and aligned with business needs Review and endorse dashboards data/semantic model design before advancing to the build stage Provide hands-on support for select dashboards, where expert-level capability is required Collaborate closely with Business Capability, Analytics Data Product, and Visualization teams to ensure visualization guidelines, standards, and governance practices are implemented consistently Help define and reinforce best practices for Power BI development, performance tuning, and UX standards Skills Needed: Extensive consulting and hands-on experience with enterprise Power BI design, modeling, performance optimization, architecture, and Snowflake Strong customer engagement and influence skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams around best practices Demonstrated ability to operate in large, complex business transformation environments
