Role description

We are currently seeking an experienced Power BI Developer / BI Reporting Analyst to support the development and enhancement of business reporting and KPI frameworks within a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
This role will focus on delivering high-quality dashboards, reporting solutions, and data models that enable effective business decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports using data from multiple sources including SQL databases, dataflows, SharePoint, Excel, and APIs
• Build and maintain scalable and efficient data models to support business reporting requirements
• Manage and maintain KPI scorecards, ensuring alignment and consistency across the organisation
• Ensure reporting solutions follow agreed standards for design, usability, and data quality
• Monitor and support existing reports, resolving issues and implementing enhancements where required
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful visualisations
• Support the continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, governance, and best practices
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across reporting solutions
Skills & Experience Required
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI including dashboard development, DAX, and data modelling
• Experience working with multiple data sources such as SQL, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, and dataflows
• Good understanding of ETL and data transformation processes
• Ability to create clear, intuitive, and user-friendly dashboards and visualisations
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and consistency
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience managing KPI frameworks or business scorecards is desirable
