Job Overview
The Power BI Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of large capital projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to manage documentation, follow established processes, and maintain configuration management, and leverage Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Power BI Reporting: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights into project performance and metrics.
β’ Data Analysis: Analyze project data using Power BI to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
β’ Process Management: Follow and enforce established project management processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
β’ Documentation: Create, update, and manage project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and project plans.
β’ Attention to Detail: Review and proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.
β’ Configuration Management: Maintain and update configuration management databases and systems to track project changes and ensure data integrity.
β’ Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
β’ Support: Provide general administrative support to the project team, including handling correspondence, filing, and data entry.
β’ Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular project status reports and updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications / Requirements
β’ Expertise in Power BI, including creating dashboards and reports.
β’ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
β’ Familiarity with project management software and tools.
β’ Attention to detail and accuracy.
β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
β’ Knowledge of configuration management principles is a plus.
