We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer / Architect with 5+ years of experience to lead legacy application modernization initiatives within a government-focused Microsoft ecosystem. This role is responsible for analyzing legacy systems and workflows, designing target-state architectures, developing and deploying Power Platform solutions, and ensuring secure, scalable operations within a Microsoft GCC environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong Azure integration expertise, DevOps maturity, and leadership across the full project lifecycle.

β’ Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze legacy applications and workflows (including WIDS or similar systems) to identify modernization opportunities
β’ Design target-state architectures leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Azure services
β’ Develop, test, and optimize Power Platform components aligned with enterprise standards
β’ Deploy and support solutions within a Microsoft GCC tenant, ensuring compliance with security and governance requirements
β’ Define and implement environment strategy, ALM, and solution lifecycle management
β’ Implement DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub for automated build and deployment
β’ Ensure solution performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
β’ Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services in hybrid AzureβPower Platform architectures
β’ Produce comprehensive technical documentation and provide structured knowledge transfer to internal teams
β’ Lead project execution across the full lifecycle, from design through deployment and post-implementation support
β’ Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and best practices
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, security teams, and program leadership
β’ Communicate technical concepts, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Basic Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of hands-on Power Platform development experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
β’ Strong experience designing and implementing Azure-integrated solutions
β’ Proven expertise in environment strategy, ALM, and release management
β’ Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment automation
β’ Strong understanding of performance tuning and scalability for enterprise applications
β’ Experience modernizing legacy applications
β’ Proficiency with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub for source control and pipelines
β’ Experience designing hybrid AzureβPower Platform architectures
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft 365 GCC governance, compliance, and security controls
β’ Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
β’ Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal supervision

β’ Experience supporting secure or regulated cloud environments
β’ Prior experience mentoring or leading technical teams
