Power Platform Developer

Minimum Qualifications a. Education and Certification • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience • Power BI Certification b. Skills and Abilities • Expertise in end-to-end development of Power BI solutions and integrated Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) • Ability to collaborate with business units to translate requirements into intuitive technical designs • Strong skills in data modeling • Proficiency in DAX and M language • Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query and enterprise tools • Ability to test and support application software and manage secure hosting environments within network infrastructure • Proficiency in data cleanup and preparation • Ability to recommend development of new code versus reuse of existing assets to maximize efficiency • Solid understanding of quality assurance and integration methodologies • Experience managing secure dashboard hosting within approved infrastructures • Skills in component and data architecture design • Strong analytical and research capabilities for solution development • Ability to deliver clear and effective training • Highly self-motivated and self-directed • Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to various stakeholders • Strong attention to detail • Ability to build partnerships and collaborate across teams • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and under pressure • Strong prioritization and task execution skills • Ability to present ideas clearly and manage multiple tasks efficiently c. Experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming or systems analysis • Experience with full systems development life cycle, including end-to-end Power BI solution delivery using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) • Experience with technical integrations • Experience with performance optimization and maintenance • Familiarity with quality assurance and integration methodologies d. General Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools: Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, and Word • Experience with native connectors such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, SQL/Oracle databases, SharePoint, Salesforce, Google Analytics, APIs, and custom connectors • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Responsibilities The Applications Development Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining technical solutions that support Power Platform integration and dashboard hosting environments. a. Full Systems Life Cycle • Lead end-to-end development of Power BI solutions • Ensure delivery of centralized hosting platforms and integrated Power Platform tools on time and within budget b. Technical Integration • Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into technical solutions • Align system designs with organizational and IT strategies c. Performance and Maintenance • Test, implement, and support application software • Recommend new development versus reuse of existing assets to improve efficiency d. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Architecture • Manage secure hosting environments for dashboards within approved infrastructure • Participate in component and data architecture design • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., security, data, and development teams) to ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements • Work with cross-functional teams across operational, technical, and managerial areas • Build strong partnerships and foster collaboration across project teams
