Role description
Position Title: Power Platform Developer Location: Remote (preference for CST and EST) Position Status: Full Time – Direct Hire Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer to design, build, and support scalable solutions across Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and related Microsoft cloud services. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and engineering teams to deliver automated workflows, integrations, and custom applications that streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Power Automate, Azure DevOps, and the broader Power Platform ecosystem. Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus. Key Responsibilities Power Platform Development β€’ Design, develop, and deploy Power Automate flows (cloud flows, business process flows, approvals, scheduled flows). β€’ Build and customize Power Apps (model-driven and/or canvas apps). β€’ Create data models using Dataverse, including entities, relationships, forms, and views. β€’ Implement security roles and environment-level governance. Integration & Automation β€’ Integrate Power Platform solutions with M365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, SQL, Azure services, and third-party APIs. β€’ Develop custom connectors when required. β€’ Optimize automations for performance, scalability, and error handling. Azure DevOps & ALM β€’ Manage ALM processes using Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards). β€’ Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform solutions. β€’ Support version control, branching strategies, and release management. Data & Analytics (Preferred) β€’ Work with Microsoft Fabric elements such as Dataflows, Pipelines, and Lakehouse (nice-to-have). β€’ Collaborate with reporting teams to support Power BI integration and data access workflows. Operational Support & Best Practices β€’ Troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause analysis. β€’ Ensure solutions follow governance standards, DLP policies, and security compliance. β€’ Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and user guides. Required Skills & Experience β€’ 5+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform. β€’ Strong expertise in Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, integrations). β€’ Experience with Azure DevOps for deployment pipelines, repositories, and work item management. β€’ Proficiency with Power Apps (model-driven and/or canvas). β€’ Solid understanding of Dataverse, solution layering, and environment management. β€’ Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, connectors, and Azure services. β€’ Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex automation or integration challenges. β€’ Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse). β€’ Familiarity with Power BI and data modeling. β€’ Experience with Dynamics 365 CE or other enterprise systems. β€’ Knowledge of governance frameworks, DLP policies, and Power Platform admin center.
