Power Platform Developer

Title: Power Platform Developer Work Location: Blue Ash, Ohio (4 days on site) Hire Type: 12 month contract (potential extensions) Pay Range: $40/hr - $65/hr (contingent on years of experience, qualifications, and education) Qualifications: • 3+ years of development experience • Java and Spring Boot experience • Proficiency with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) • SQL Plusses: • Azure • API/Kafka Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Power Platform Developer to lead the modernization of our legacy data and reporting infrastructure. This role will focus on transitioning existing systems to Power BI and PowerApps, while also integrating Java/Spring Boot services into the Power Platform ecosystem (PowerApps, Power Automate). The initial development has already been started, so this position will help finalize the buildout of a structured data and reporting framework and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, usability, and scalability across the analytics landscape. Key Responsibilities • Migrate legacy reporting systems and data workflows to Power BI and PowerApps • Design and develop custom applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dataverse • Integrate Java/Spring Boot APIs and services • Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to ensure seamless data flow and visualization • Optimize performance and usability of Power BI dashboards and PowerApps interfaces • Ensure security, compliance, and governance across all Power Platform solutions • Document technical designs, workflows, and integration patterns
