Software Application Developer (Microsoft Power Platform)

Location: Chicago
We’re looking for a Software Application Developer with deep Microsoft Power Platform expertise to build secure, scalable, data‑driven applications and workflow automations. You’ll work across Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure, and Fabric to deliver governed, enterprise‑grade solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Build and support data‑centric applications and automations using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Translate business and reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery: requirements, integration design, development, testing, deployment, and transition to support.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services, Fabric, and enterprise data platforms.
• Partner with Release Management on CI/CD pipelines, branching, and environment promotion.
• Support modern analytics workflows through data orchestration and transformation patterns.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and data‑handling standards.
• Troubleshoot performance, data, and integration issues.
• Maintain documentation for solution designs, data flows, pipelines, and runbooks.
• Contribute to best practices, reusable components, and platform standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years developing enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps + Power Automate).
• Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure and Fabric.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Release Management workflows.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform ALM: environment strategy, branching, automation, and managed solutions.
• Solid knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and analytics platform integration.
