Power Platform Developer

• Seeking a Senior Power Apps/Power Platform Developer for a contract opportunity. • This role will be 3 days onsite and 2 days in office. Seeking someone who can built out apps to scale and communicate with high level and business stakeholders daily. • • Primary Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, as well as future technologies. • As a Microsoft Power Platform subject matter expert, provide technical training and support to citizen developer super-users. • Pursue continuous learning consistent with evolving job requirements, ongoing changes in technology, and changes in the organization. • Demonstrate knowledge of the practical application of systems and technology including systems architecture, hardware, operations, and systems life cycle. • Develop technical and user documentation for the ongoing support of applications. • Initiate problem solving to support business processes, deployed solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Key Objectives • Champion the Microsoft Power Platform environment to enable a more self-service environment for the business users. • Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for automation, solution design, Business Intelligence (BI), and reporting solutions. • Work with business and IT teams to design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing. • Utilize the project management methodology to lead projects and execute the full systems lifecycle including define requirements, design solutions, develop, test, and implement solutions that meet business needs and enhance processes. • Have an understanding of the business processes and work with internal customers to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement. • Develop professional working relationships across all levels of the organization and maintain a high level of Power Platform stakeholder and super-user interaction. • • Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred but not required. • 3 years’ experience in a similar role and 2-3 years Developing with Power Apps. • Experience with database query tools including SQL (SQL Developer and/or SQL+) • Experience/understanding in database development in creating complex database Queries, Views, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions • Experience in Agile and Scrum development methodologies • Experience with translating business requirements into system requirements • Experience in software troubleshooting and performance optimization • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Strong relationship skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers, other analysts, and management • Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terminology • Ability to introduce new ideas and concepts that enhance the customer experience, streamline operations, and provide optimal security that fits the organization’s needs • Detail-oriented, critical thinking, with strong problem-solving skills • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively • Self-learner and able to work under minimal supervision and with teams • Knowledge of governance and change management procedures in an IT environment. • Knowledge of API or rest services integration • Advanced knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure, and operations • some demonstrated proficiency in business modeling, process modeling, data modeling • Functional business knowledge from an IT perspective in planning & scheduling, quality, and finance.
