Power Platform Developer & Migration Consultant

Duration: 6+ months Location: Remote w/ travel to Chicago, IL (2-3 days/month) Responsibilities: • We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer & Consultant to lead and deliver a Power Apps tenant-to-tenant migration project. • Act as migration architect during the assessment phase: perform asset inventory, analyze complexity, and define approach. • Package and migrate Power Platform solutions using Client CLI, PowerShell, and solution export/import best practices. • Reconfigure environment variables, connection references, and authentication post-migration. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to compatibility, security roles, and user access in the target tenant. • Perform functionality validation and regression testing after each migration wave. • Document findings, configuration decisions, and recommendations for handoff and operational support. • Provide input into cut-over planning and post-migration hyper-care. Requirements: • 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. • Proven experience migrating Power Platform solutions across environments or tenants. • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, custom connectors, and Power Platform ALM practices. • Proficiency with PowerShell, Client CLI, and Power Platform admin tools. • Experience designing and implementing solution architecture for enterprise-grade Power Platform deployments. • Ability to work independently and confidently make decisions in a fast-paced consulting environment.
