Job Title: Power Platform Developer (Prefer Local Candidates)
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 12 Month Long Term
Hybrid Onsite: 4 Days onsite per week from Day1.
We are looking for a seasoned Microsoft Power Platform Developer with strong application development and platform experience. This role requires a professional who has 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development, with a proven transition into platform administration, compliance, and governance. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with a broad understanding of Microsoft Power Platform tools and SharePoint architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
β’ Build and automate complex workflows using Power Automate
β’ Implement virtual assistants and chatbot solutions using Power Virtual Agents
β’ Manage and integrate SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and other external data sources
β’ Support platform governance, compliance, security, and best practices across Power Platform and SharePoint environments
β’ Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of Power Platform solutions
β’ Stay current with Microsoft updates, roadmap, and community best practices
Required Qualifications:
β’ 10 years of professional experience in SharePoint development, administration, and governance
β’ Proven progression from hands-on SharePoint/Power Apps development to platform compliance and administration
β’ 5+ years of experience developing with Microsoft Power Platform
β’ Strong command of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents
β’ Experience with Power Fx, JSON, REST APIs, and custom connectors
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, and Azure Logic Apps/Functions
β’ Solid understanding of governance, security, and compliance principles in Microsoft environments
β’ Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
