Rate: 55-65/hr on w-2
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to oversee the design, configuration, deployment, and governance of Microsoft Power Platform applications. You will play a critical role in supporting application development, environment management, data structuring, and automation processes across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power BI, along with a solid understanding of governance best practices and application lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Management:
• Design and manage Dataverse data structures
• Implement security roles and permissions
• Oversee data flows, integrations, and enforce data protection standards
• Application Lifecycle Management:
• Manage app deployment, promotion across environments, and version control
• Define and document app maintenance, backup, and release processes
• Environment Management:
• Collaborate with administrators to create/manage environments
• Assign permissions/licenses, monitor usage, and ensure compliance
• Governance and Documentation:
• Enforce organizational standards and policies
• Conduct regular audits, log reviews, and performance assessments
• Create documentation for developers, admins, and end users
• Support and Troubleshooting:
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support
• Troubleshoot app and flow performance issues
• Resolve environment and security-related concerns
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Partner with stakeholders to gather and document requirements
• Advocate for adoption of Power Platform tools
• Communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences
Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years experience with Power Apps (Canvas, Model-driven apps, permissions, deployment)
• 4+ years experience with Dataverse (schema design, security, data modeling)
• 3+ years experience with Power Automate (flow triggers/actions, gateways, connections)
• 3+ years experience with Azure Active Directory/Entra ID (user/groups, authentication, policies)
• 2+ years experience with Power BI (workspace management, security, deployment)
• 2+ years experience in Power Platform governance and environment management
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple demands
• Demonstrated customer service orientation
Nice to Have:
• Experience using Git with Power Platform
• PowerShell scripting experience for automation
• Familiarity with Power Pages (site security, deployment, Dataverse integration)
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate)
