π» Position Overview
COMPA Industries is seeking a Power Platform Specialist to support Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS). This role is responsible for architecting, developing, and supporting enterprise workflow and collaboration solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies in a regulated DOE nuclear environment. The position supports mission-critical business processes and works closely with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
π§ Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
β’ Architect and modernize workflow solutions within Microsoft 365 environments
β’ Gather and document business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
β’ Develop enterprise-level applications and automation solutions aligned with organizational goals
β’ Support workflow testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization
β’ Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and user guides
β’ Ensure compliance with DOE, SRNS, cybersecurity, and data governance requirements
β’ Participate in project planning, status meetings, and milestone tracking
β’ Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within cross-functional teams
π Required Education & Experience
Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
OR
Combination of education and directly related experience totaling 9+ years in lieu of a degree
π§ͺ Required Skills & Experience
β’ Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
β’ Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
β’ Experience developing enterprise workflow and automation solutions
β’ Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and solution deployment
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
β’ Experience working in regulated or enterprise IT environments
β Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience supporting GCC High or government-regulated Microsoft environments
β’ Knowledge of DOE, NIST, or cybersecurity compliance standards
β’ Experience modernizing legacy SharePoint workflows
β’ Prior SRNS, DOE, or nuclear industry experience
π Security Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE βQβ Security Clearance
