Role description
Overview Our consultancy client is looking for an analytical Power System Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will have expertise in power systems and a strong understanding of data analysis to support business decisions and drive improvements in our operations. Experience We are looking for someone with extensive experience in energy supply and demand forecasting and a strong knowledge of one or more of the following: pathways, dispatch and redispatch, constraints and energy load, flow and stability analysis. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain data models, reports and dashboards that provide insights into system performance and business operations. • Analyse power system operations and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation. • Conduct Feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes and assist in development and implementation of strategies to enhance the reliability and efficiency of power systems. • Provide technical expertise and support in the evaluation and selection of power system technologies. • Prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements related to power systems. Site Expectation This role will require you to be in the Warwick or Wokingham office 2 days a week.
