After the initial contract engagement, the manager would like to hire the contractor full time. Mecklenburg County is not able to offer sponsorship for the full-time role. This position, with minimal supervision, is responsible for designing, coding, testing, correcting, documenting, and reviewing complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications, and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. The Application Developer in this class is responsible for leading an application development team to deliver applications based on detailed specifications. The primary function domain for this position is Health and Human Services, which contains a large portfolio of Microsoft Power Platform and applications.Strong preference will be given to candidates holding a Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) or Developer Associate (PL-400) Certification from Microsoft.
