Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a PowerBuilder Developer in Addison, TX. Overview: The PowerBuilder Developer works under the general supervision of the Software Development Manager. This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems. Key responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs for new and existing systems. The PowerBuilder Developer is expected to deliver exceptional customer service and complete technical development and support tasks accurately and timely, adhering to Information Systems standards. Responsibilities:
β’ Maintain, improve, and develop clinical and EDI processes
β’ Understand integration requirements for systems and provide ESB design
β’ Design and develop PowerBuilder applications based on business requirements
β’ Participate in integration code review and optimization discussions
β’ Provide testing and deployment support to release teams
β’ Build and deploy automation using Bamboo tool
β’ Conduct unit testing and automate regression testing scenarios using available toolsets
β’ Experiment with new solution patterns and tools, providing proof of concepts to application architects
β’ Use monitoring tools to diagnose system or application issues or downtime
β’ Continuously improve the overall performance of IS operations
β’ Investigate issues/reported bugs, identify the cause, analyze impact, and provide the best possible solution
β’ Respond to and resolve user technical support issues via telephone, email, and remote access software as needed
β’ Document business processes and business rules in Confluence
β’ Work a periodic flexible schedule

Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (experience in lieu of required education is acceptable)
β’ At least 7 years of PowerBuilder (12.6 or later) experience with knowledge of C#
β’ At least 7 years of experience in a software development or production support role, with at least 4 years of application development experience
β’ Experience in Business Process Improvement, Problem Management/Preventive Maintenance, and Analytical & Conceptual Problem Solving
β’ Proficient knowledge of C#, HTML, JavaScript, SYBASE/Oracle/MS SQL Server, SQL and query language, Unix Shell Scripting, Integration Platforms, and APIs
β’ Preferred: Large scale multi-site IS operations experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
