Remote Position - Quarterly Travel To HQ Is Required
We’re seeking a skilled software engineer to join our client's team and take ownership of maintaining and evolving core legacy systems built in PowerBuilder. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The role also presents future growth opportunities in .NET and API development.
Key Responsibilities
• Support, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing applications developed in PowerBuilder.
• Design and refine SQL queries to ensure efficient database operations.
• Participate in Agile team activities, including planning, development, and code reviews.
• Work on integrating legacy systems with modern APIs and technology stacks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience with PowerBuilder.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL.
• Bonus points for familiarity with .NET (C#), API integration, Mulesoft, Angular, or .NET MAUI.
