Weβre seeking a skilled software engineer to join our client's team and take ownership of maintaining and evolving core legacy systems built in PowerBuilder. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The role also presents future growth opportunities in .NET and API development.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Support, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing applications developed in PowerBuilder.
β’ Design and refine SQL queries to ensure efficient database operations.
β’ Participate in Agile team activities, including planning, development, and code reviews.
β’ Work on integrating legacy systems with modern APIs and technology stacks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
β’ Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience with PowerBuilder.
β’ Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL.
β’ Bonus points for familiarity with .NET (C#), API integration, Mulesoft, Angular, or .NET MAUI.
