Pricing Data Scientist

Title: Pricing Data Scientist Location: Miramar, FL Duration: 6+ months Compensation: $85.00 - 90.00/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Pricing Data Scientist Job Description: As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from large datasets, building predictive models, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Develop pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue growth. • Collaborate with immediate and cross-functional teams to develop and refine pricing models. (coaching & sharing, codevelop best practices) • Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to optimize pricing. • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments/measurements to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing & forecasting strategies. • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. • Tailoring experiments to fit the business case • Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on pricing, revenue management and/or forecasting preferred. • Bachelor's degree in data science, economics, computer science, statistics, or a related field. • Proficiency in R or Python. • Knowledge of SQL. Experience with Redshift, preferably • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: • Master's or PhD in data science, economics, computer science, statistics, or a related field. • Experience building web applications in Shiny, Dash, Streamlit, or Bokeh • Experience with AWS Sagemaker, Posit Workbench/Connect, and/or Databricks. • Experience utilizing common CPG data sources (Nielsen, IRI, etc) Our benefits package includes: • Comprehensive medical benefits • Competitive pay • 401(k) retirement plan • ...and much more!
