Role description
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal data Architect to join our team. This role is best suited for an experienced analyst with strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. The ideal candidate will bring a sense of urgency, ensuring deadlines are consistently met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Participate in proof-of-concept initiatives to assess fit-for-purpose solutions.
β’ Develop data and analytics architecture, best practices, and guiding principles.
β’ Partner through implementation and operational support to ensure business outcomes.
β’ Collaborate with business and solution architects for analytics initiatives.
β’ Analyze current architectures to identify weaknesses and improvements.
β’ Ensure completeness of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis.
β’ Define, document, and maintain architecture patterns.
β’ Deliver solution blueprints for data and analytics initiatives.
β’ Conduct capability maturity assessments and build future-state roadmaps.
β’ Define interim architectures and strategies to align with end-state vision.
β’ Stay updated on data and analytics industry trends.
β’ Develop and present architectural artifacts and documentation.
β’ Establish standard architectural principles, patterns, and processes.
β’ Drive continuous improvement of data and analytics architecture maturity.
Qualifications
β’ 9-12 years of experience in data and analytics solution delivery or related position.
β’ 5-8 years of architecture or design experience across a broad range of data and analytics capabilities with a cloud background.
Technical Skills:
β’ Data and Analytics computing methodologies.
β’ Data and Analytics platforms, tools, and integration processes both on-prem and cloud.
β’ Common integration patterns (batch, micro-batch, near real time, real time).
β’ Data Fabric framework.
β’ Basic Programming skills in Python, SQL.
β’ Data management and data security.
β’ Data pipeline tools like ADF, IICS.
β’ Streaming/Event processing and pub/sub software.
