Principal Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal data Architect to join our team. This role is best suited for an experienced analyst with strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. The ideal candidate will bring a sense of urgency, ensuring deadlines are consistently met while maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Participate in proof-of-concept initiatives to assess fit-for-purpose solutions. • Develop data and analytics architecture, best practices, and guiding principles. • Partner through implementation and operational support to ensure business outcomes. • Collaborate with business and solution architects for analytics initiatives. • Analyze current architectures to identify weaknesses and improvements. • Ensure completeness of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis. • Define, document, and maintain architecture patterns. • Deliver solution blueprints for data and analytics initiatives. • Conduct capability maturity assessments and build future-state roadmaps. • Define interim architectures and strategies to align with end-state vision. • Stay updated on data and analytics industry trends. • Develop and present architectural artifacts and documentation. • Establish standard architectural principles, patterns, and processes. • Drive continuous improvement of data and analytics architecture maturity. Qualifications • 9-12 years of experience in data and analytics solution delivery or related position. • 5-8 years of architecture or design experience across a broad range of data and analytics capabilities with a cloud background. Technical Skills: • Data and Analytics computing methodologies. • Data and Analytics platforms, tools, and integration processes both on-prem and cloud. • Common integration patterns (batch, micro-batch, near real time, real time). • Data Fabric framework. • Basic Programming skills in Python, SQL. • Data management and data security. • Data pipeline tools like ADF, IICS. • Streaming/Event processing and pub/sub software.
