Overview
We are seeking Principal-level Microsoft Fabric Engineers to lead platform buildout, enterprise ingestion and transformation frameworks, tool consolidation, and data modeling strategy across the Fabric medallion architecture. This role requires strong engineering leadership combined with pragmatic architectural judgment to deliver solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to customer capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end buildout of Clients Microsoft Fabric platform to support enterprise-scale dealer and corporate data integration.
Translate architectural guidance from clients and Microsoft into executable engineering solutions, patterns, and frameworks.
Design and implement scalable ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
Architect and operationalize lakehouse and medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) aligned to enterprise standards.
Own data modeling strategy across the platform, ensuring models support analytics, reporting, and long-term maintainability.
Apply appropriate modeling techniques including star schema, warehouse modeling, and hybrid approaches based on use case and customer maturity.
Leverage Data Vault concepts selectively (primarily in Silver layer) for complex source system integration or MDM use cases.
Ensure Gold-layer models remain business-friendly and optimized for analytics and reporting.
Balance architectural tradeoffs across performance, scalability, maintainability, and customer adoption.
Design solutions that customers can successfully operate post-handoff, favoring maintainable, SQL-friendly and low-code patterns where appropriate.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and architecture artifacts within the vendors delivery model.

Strong SQL, Spark, and data transformation skills. Experience building scalable cloud-based ingestion and transformation frameworks. Performance tuning and optimization experience across large datasets.
Preferred Experience
Experience in distributed data ecosystems such as dealer networks or manufacturing environments.
Prior involvement in enterprise Data & Digital transformation programs.
Collaboration with Microsoft engineers or architects on Fabric or Azure data platform rollouts.
Experience delivering platforms intended for long-term customer ownership and sustainability.
