We're seeking a Principal Database Engineer with a strong data engineering background to support Equity Trading products in a fast-paced, agile environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with global trading desks and cutting-edge technology platforms.
✅ Must-Have Skills:
• Strong experience in Oracle and PL/SQL development
• Data Engineering mindset and interest in learning the Equity Trading domain
• Proven experience working in Agile environments
• Experience with Snowflake, Python, and AWS
• Equity Trading background is a plus
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Equity Trading teams across Boston, London, and Hong Kong
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance database solutions
• Contribute to software delivery pipelines, leveraging CI/CD and test automation frameworks
• Perform in-depth data analysis and drive data-driven decision-making
• Document technical decisions clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices
