Principal Gen AI Scientist

Position Title: Principal Gen AI Scientist Location: McLean, VA – Fully onsite Duration: 6 months with possible extension Qualification: • Build and deploy GenAI applications and AI agents for business use cases. • Architect Agentic workflows, RAG-based solutions, and multi-modal AI systems. • Strong GenAI expertise - recent. • RAG is Must and GraphRAG experience is highly preferred. • Strong Python skills (Jupyter notebooks). • MCP (Model Context Protocol) and A2A (Agent-to-Agent) experience are important here. • AWS Bedrock and Knowledge Base. • Must be a strong Data Scientist with deep knowledge in ML and Deep Learning, and recent hands-on GenAI experience. • Experience with AI Agents and using them in workflows. • Experience building GenAI Agents and working on GenAI-oriented projects. • Hands-on with prompt engineering, RAG, and MCP implementation. • Ability to design and build models and agents for identified business use cases. • Should handle data science solutions end-to-end, including integration with databases (e.g., Snowflake or any other). • Background: PhD in AI/Data Science, 10+ years in AI/ML, 3+ in GenAI/LLMs. • Portfolio: GitHub link required (for code review). Must Have Qualifications: Must have hands on experience with machine learning transitioned into GenAI. Rag, Python- Jupyter, other Software knowledge, using agents in workflows, strong understanding of data. Preferred: Built AI agent, MCP, A2A, Graph Rag, deployed Gen AI applications to production.
