Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, strategic, and analytical Principal Insight Analyst to join our dynamic team.
You will lead the design, development, and delivery of high-impact analytical insights that drive evidence based decision making across the organisation.

Role Scope:
• Full time hours - 37.5 per week
• A fixed-term agreement to March 2026
• A remote work schedule

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of complex analytical projects, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Utilise SQL, R or Python, and Excel to perform data analysis and manipulation.
• Develop and maintain data visualisations using Power BI or Tableau.
• Apply statistical techniques to interpret complex data sets.
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of data analysis and reporting.
• Manage own workload and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
. Knowledge & Skills:
• Educated to master’s level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area such as data science/health economics.
• Proficiency in SQL, R or Python, and Excel.
• Extensive experience in data analysis and interpretation.
• Strong knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with statistical techniques and their application.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• You will understand healthcare data sources, NHS data standards, and information governance.
Desirable Experience
• Experience working with NHS data.
• Knowledge of Databricks and PySpark.
• Experience in analysing survey results.
