Job Title: Principal Kony Developer – 4 openings Location: Brookfield, WI Long Term Exp.: 15 years Position Overview We are seeking a highly specialized Principal Kony Developer to lead the design and delivery of mission-critical enterprise mobile applications for a banking client. This role is ideal for a handson expert with deep experience in Kony Visualizer, MobileFabric, and complex backend integrations within regulated financial environments. The position demands strong architectural judgment, end-to-end ownership, and the ability to operate in highly governed, security-sensitive banking ecosystems. Required Skills & Experience • 14+ years of overall software development experience. • 10+ years in mobile application development. • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Kony / Temenos Quantum. • Expert-level proficiency in Kony Visualizer and Kony MobileFabric • Strong backend and integration experience using Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate • SOAP and RESTful services • Advanced knowledge of mobile architecture, performance tuning, and security. • Strong SQL and database design experience (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.). • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders. • Prior experience delivering solutions in banking or financial services. • Exposure to mobile security frameworks, MDM integrations, and compliance-driven development. • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy mobile platforms. • Kony / Temenos Quantum certifications required. Key Responsibilities • Architect, design, and develop enterprise-scale mobile banking applications using Kony Visualizer with Free Form Architecture. • Build, configure, and manage backend services using Kony MobileFabric, including: o Service orchestration o Integration services o Custom Pre/Post Processors • Lead integration with core banking and enterprise systems using Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and SOAP/REST APIs. • Work closely with business, product, and architecture teams to translate complex banking requirements into scalable mobile solutions. • Support hybrid and native mobile components using Android Studio, Eclipse, and mobile debugging/testing tools. • Design and optimize enterprise-grade database interactions using Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS platforms. • Maintain and modernize legacy hybrid components built with Apache Cordova, ensuring stability and performance. • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and enforcement of mobile development best practices. • Partner with QA and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and controlled production releases. • Ensure compliance with banking security standards, performance benchmarks, and regulatory requirements
